Drug Overview
Tukol MAX ACTION Severe Congestion & Cough is a combination medication that contains dextromethorphan HBr (a cough suppressant), guaifenesin (an expectorant that helps loosen phlegm), and phenylephrine HCl (a decongestant). It is designed to relieve cough, nasal congestion, and chest congestion for individuals aged 12 and older.
This medication works by helping to thin bronchial secretions, making it easier for mucus to drain from the bronchial tubes, and temporarily alleviating symptoms associated with colds, such as nasal congestion and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation.
Uses
This medication is designed to help you breathe easier by loosening phlegm (mucus) and thinning bronchial secretions, which allows for better drainage of your bronchial tubes.

Dosage and Administration
When using this medication, it's important to follow the dosing instructions carefully. For adults and children aged 12 years and older, you should take 20 mL (milliliters) every 4 hours.
